I don't normally blog tour/tease upcoming books but this one is exceptional. The author is a poet and educator and a genuinely gifted wordsmith (I guess it's sort of a prerequisite of the job of poet?).
Algonquin is releasing the paperback format of The Book of Delights (originally published in 2019) on August 16th, and to coincide with the release, they're supporting a blog tour. When the book goes live, my review will appear here.
This is an exceptionally happy book and I enjoyed it a lot. Worth its weight in dopamine and endorphins.
The author looks like a fun and intelligent guy with whom to have a coffee chat about anything at all:
