BookTrib Lit Picks is a multi-genre collection of chapter samples (51) put together by BookTrib. Released 22nd Nov 2024, it's 462 pages and is available in electronic format free from the publisher, here. It's worth noting that the ebook format has a handy interactive table of contents as well as interactive links throughout.
This is a remarkably broad ranging multi-genre cross section of both well known and lesser known titles. Original publication dates range from 1967 (Ira Levin's classic horror title Rosemary's Baby) to brand new at press-time (Holiday 2024, A Dark & Secret Magic, by Wallis Kinney). Most are from instantly recognizable authors. About half are trad-pub, half indie.
This is a solid collection with (literally) something for everyone. Readers wanting a copy can sign up on the website mailing list.
Five stars. Huge collection of generous samples. Definitely one for building up the TBR list. They don't seem to be thematically curated; just a big honkin' collection of chapters from 51 books, from old to brand new. Each entry also includes publishing info and the cover.
Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.
